Greenleaf Receives Philadelphia Trail Lawyers Highest Honor 

The Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association recently presented Senator Greenleaf with the 32nd Annual Justice Michael A. Musmanno Award. 

The award is given annually to the person who best exemplifies the same high integrity, scholarship, and concern for human rights as exhibited by the late Justice Michael A. Musmanno (1897 – 1968), a highly respected juror and Pennsylvania legislator. 

Senator Greenleaf was recognized for his tireless advocacy for prison reform, post-conviction DNA testing, work to prevent child abuse, consumer protection laws, and fighting to fund legal aid for those who cannot afford representation. 

"I am truly honored to receive the Musmanno Award," said Senator Greenleaf.  "The trial lawyers uphold justice whether their work affects criminal defendants or civil plaintiffs.  They are just as active as I have been in introducing and advocating for laws that help people."
