Senator Greenleaf visits the Horsham Township Police Department to see the new Emergency Operations Center purchased through a $5,000 Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development grant sponsored by the Senator.  The center will serve as the primary emergency management location during any natural or man-caused disaster.  In the photo, Chief of Police, Robert H. October 2009—Senator Greenleaf enjoys a day of paddling Pennsylvania’s Lehigh River.  In 2005, the Senator helped obtain federal funding to relocate a public access road on top of Francis E. Walter Dam as well as worked with the Army Corps of Engineers to help provide for more water releases from the dam to benefit white water rafting and recreation. September 9, 2009 - Senator Greenleaf presented the residents of Spring House Estates with a $10,000 DCED grant used to purchase new fitness equipment.

On a sunny August afternoon, Senator Greenleaf once again hosted a Community Night for the constituents of the 12th District in Lukens Park, Horsham Township.  Nearly 1,500 people gathered to take advantage of the vendors from various state agencies and the services offered by the Senator’s district office staff.  Children enjoyed a variety of activities including face painting, a clown, and a puppet show.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the opportunity to meet their friends and neighbors and share in a fun and informative evening.  And of course, Senator Greenleaf was on hand to meet with his constituents, hear their concerns, and discuss what’s happening in state government.  We are all looking forward to next year’s Community Night!

June 10, 2009 - At the State Capitol, State Senator Stewart J. Greenleaf (R, Montgomery, Bucks) presented a Senate Citation to Michael Palmisano, a senior at Upper Dublin High School, who won the Class AAA Boy’s 1600 Meter Run event at the 2009 PIAA State Track and Field Championship.  Michael also earned second place as a member of the school’s 3200 Meter Relay Team.  From left, Senator Greenleaf; Michael Palmisano; and coaches, Floyd Dinkins and Richard Ames.

June 10, 2009 - Senator Stewart Greenleaf on the Senate Floor with the members of the Central Bucks South High School Track and Field Team who won the Class AAA Boy’s 3200 Meter Relay event at the 2009 PIAA State Track and Field Championship with a time of 7:33:48, a new state record.
