June 13, 2008 – After 15 years of championing
the legislation to ban smoking in Pennsylvania, Senator Stewart
Greenleaf (R-Montgomery) joined health advocates, cancer
fighting organizations and a packed audience at the Ambler
Theatre at a bill signing ceremony for the Clean Indoor Air Act,
which the senator sponsored. The legislation makes Pennsylvania
the 33rd state to enact a comprehensive smoking ban that
prohibits smoking in most public places and workplaces.
